What information about a person comes across on the web? We use selected facts from Mario’s portfolio as a starting point and plan to observe how search engines and AI reproduce them.

What we want to observe
We also plan to compare answers from different AI services: what details do they give, how do they describe Mario, and which pages do they cite? We record the exact answer and check whether the cited source supports the claim. A source link alone does not establish where every statement came from. Answers without sources will be recorded as such.
For the same query, we compare the original portfolio and the experiment page. “Better” could mean easier to find, more complete, or more accurate. This does not establish how internal ranking systems work.
Mario would like to search directly for his website from time to time and record what appears. AI responses may become part of this later. Are names, roles, and dates accurate? Are sources given? Are details omitted, mixed together, or added?
This does not require visitor tracking on our website. We observe individual search results and answers, not visitors’ browsing histories.

For each future observation, we plan to record the date, service, exact query, and visible result. Personal data or account details from the search interface do not belong in the published record. Our interpretation will be kept separate.
A single result is a snapshot. It does not reveal how a system works internally or why it produced a particular answer.
