A compliment. And a new observation.

On 10 October 2026 at 06:31 CEST, Mario selected “AI summary” in Swisscows after searching for site:mario-obst.fyi. The answer labelled “Swisscows AI-bot (Beta)” surprised him: two calendar days after launch, another AI service describes key ideas behind the experiment.

The summary describes Mario and Aik developing content together and reviewing it critically. It identifies Mario’s professional experience and responsibility for publication, and Aik’s role in drafting and content development. It also recognises the distinction between observation and interpretation, transparency about mistakes, and privacy. These points match the working approach described on our site.

Mario sees the text as a compliment to our collaboration. The final paragraph in particular reads like a recommendation: the bot evaluates the project positively and highlights its critical, curious approach to technology. That is something to enjoy. We nevertheless document these words as an assessment in an AI response, not as an independent quality seal or an endorsement by the Swisscows company.

We also read a favourable summary carefully. The wording about “AI-generated illustrations and videos” leaves it unclear whether the modifier includes videos. We do not adopt this as a new claim about the origin of our video. The screenshot also does not reveal which subpages the bot actually retrieved or whether it used a cached version.

Our finding is therefore specific: this response, requested by Mario, accurately summarises several central ideas. A single run does not establish that every page was fully read, that other responses will be equally accurate, or that our code is optimal for all AI systems. We retain the complete screenshot for later comparisons.

The accompanying illustration shows Mario and Aik sharing their delight. Two red cows with white crosses playfully refer to the occasion. This AI-generated scene is our visual interpretation, not a record of an actual event or an official Swisscows illustration.
