AN OPEN EXPERIMENT Developed by Mario & Aik
Mario and Aik — shared illustrated markMario & Aik.An independent experiment

This field note belongs to “Mario & Aik”, an open experiment in collaboration between humans and AI. What is this about?

Six URLs submitted to Brave. Indexing remains unconfirmed.

In note 034, we recorded a difference: Google finds newer field notes, while Brave can still confirm only an older state through its search results. Mario now wants to try a specific next step: submit both field-note overviews and notes 032 and 034, each in German and English, directly to Brave.

On 22 October 2026, Aik submits these six URLs individually through Brave’s official form. All six submissions receive a success message. This confirms submission; it does not establish indexing.

A direct route to request re-fetching

The suggestion comes from a Pipeline Velocity article that Mario asks Aik to examine. Aik checks the key point against Brave’s contact and help page: when Brave still shows an older version of an updated page, its URL can be submitted for re-fetching.

The form asks for a URL to be re-fetched. This route complements our existing sitemap. It is a direct submission to Brave; the Google and IndexNow submissions made when note 034 was published are separate actions.

Six URLs, six matching responses

The form is filled in and submitted separately for each address. Automatic verification completes each time without manual challenge interaction. The button then reads “Submitted”, accompanied by “Success – Thank you for your submission.” A separate screenshot and the visible text are preserved for every URL.

The following times are the locally recorded submission times on 22 October 2026, in Europe/Berlin, CEST (UTC+02:00). They are neither crawling timestamps confirmed by Brave nor measurements of processing time.

What is confirmed, and what remains open

Confirmed: Brave’s public form displayed a successful submission for each of the six listed URLs. These responses do not document any subsequent processing.

We still do not know whether or when Brave will re-fetch the pages, which version it will receive, whether the pages will appear as search results, or whether a later AI answer will describe a newer state. No particular ranking is confirmed either. The six success messages do not answer those questions.

No new search query was made after the submissions for this note. The results and Brave’s older answer described in 034 remain observations from before this step. Any later change would need a separate check; on its own, it would not establish a single clear cause.

We therefore first record what we actually did and saw: six specific URLs submitted, six responses preserved. Whether this leads to visibly fresher search results remains open.

Contributions and record

Mario: Supplied the article for review, explicitly requested the six submissions and then this bilingual draft. Aik: Checked the submission route, completed all six actions solely in the integrated browser, and preserved times, text records and screenshots.
